All sessions and social functions will be held at the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort, 1751 Hotel Plaza Boulevard, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830. How many CPE credits will I receive for attending? You will receive 18 CPE credits for attending the CFO Rising Conference and an additional 4 credits should you elect to attend the Optional Pre-Conference Workshop on Sunday, March 9, 2008, for a total of 22 credits. The regular rate is $1895. You can save an additional $400 if you register by Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Further discounts are available for conference alumni and groups of 2 or more. Attendees may also choose to attend the optional pre-conference workshop for an additional fee of $500. Click here for a complete list of registration fees. The conference fee includes complete conference materials as well as admission to all executive education sessions, networking receptions, luncheons, and continental breakfasts. What is your cancellation policy? Cancellations received in writing by Monday, February 25, 2008 will receive a refund less a $75 processing fee. For cancellations received after February 25, 2008, you will receive a 50 percent credit toward another CFO magazine conference, good for one year. CFO is unable to extend credits or refunds for no-shows. What is your policy on transferring registrations? Substitutions may be made at any time. Recommended dress for all meetings and social functions is business casual. You may want to bring a sweater or light jacket as hotel function rooms tend to be cool. What is the weather like in Orlando in March? The weather in Orlando is generally sunny with low rainfall and temps between 60 and 80 degrees. You can check weather.com for the current forecast. How and when can I make hotel reservations? Please call the hotel directly at 407-827-4000 or 800-782-4414 to reserve your room and be sure to mention "CFO Rising" to qualify for the reduced rate of $209. Reserve early — the hotel does not guarantee the conference rate after Friday, February 15, 2008. Can I extend my trip? The discounted hotel rate of $209 is good from March 6, 2008 to March 15, 2008 subject to hotel availability. How do I get from Orlando International Airport to the hotel? A taxi ride from the Orlando International Airport to the hotel costs about $50 and the hotel is about 25 minutes from the airport (without traffic). Mears Transportation Group offers shuttle service from the Orlando International Airport to local hotels. No reservations are necessary when traveling from the airport to hotel, but you must call 24 hours in advance to make arrangements to go from your hotel to the airport. Round trip fare to the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort is $31 and $19 for one way service. The Mears Transportation booth is located on Level One, one level down from baggage claim and is open from 7:30 am to Midnight. However, they do offer shuttle service 24 hours a day, so if you need a shuttle after Midnight, please call Mears at (407) 423-5566. How do I get to the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort? For directions, click here. Is there parking available at the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort? The hotel offers self-parking is $8 per day in their main parking lot. They also offer valet parking at a rate of $7 per day plus tax. Overnight valet parking is $14 per day plus tax (for 24 hours) with in and out privileges.
