Where will the conference be held? All sessions and social functions will be held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare Hotel, 9300 West Bryn Mawr Avenue, Rosemont, IL 60018. How many CPE credits will I receive for attending? You will receive 14 CPE credits for attending the CFO Technology Summit and an additional 4 credits should you elect to attend the Optional Pre-Conference Workshop on Sunday, October 28, 2007, for a total of 18 credits. The regular rate is $1495. You can save an additional $400 if you register by Tuesday, October 9, 2007. Further discounts are available for conference alumni and groups of 2 or more. The conference fee includes complete conference materials as well as admission to all executive education sessions, the networking session, luncheons, and continental breakfasts. What is your cancellation policy? Cancellations received in writing by Monday, October 15, 2007 will receive a refund less a $75 processing fee. For cancellations received after October 15, 2007, you will receive a 50 percent credit toward another CFO magazine conference, good for one year. CFO is unable to extend credits or refunds for no-shows. What is your policy on transferring registrations? Substitutions may be made at any time. Recommended dress for all meetings and social functions is business casual. You may want to bring a sweater or light jacket as hotel function rooms tend to be cool. What is the weather like in Chicago in November? The weather in Chicago at this time of year is usually 40 to 50 degrees. You can check weather.com for the current forecast. Reserve early — the hotel does not guarantee the conference rate after Friday, October 5, 2007. Can I extend my trip? The discounted hotel rate of $179 is good from October 25, 2007 to November 2, 2007 subject to hotel availability. How do I get from the O'Hare International Airport to the hotel? A taxi ride from the O'Hare International Airport to the hotel costs about $7 and the hotel is about 3 miles from the airport. There is also a 24-hour, complimentary hotel shuttle service, which runs every 15 minutes. Follow the red Shuttle signs at the airport to the designated pick-up area, O'Hare bus / Shuttle Center Door One. International travelers must use the courtesy phone inside the terminal. Shuttle buses are blue with white signage that reads Hyatt Regency O'Hare. For pick-up between 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m., guests must call the hotel directly at 847-696-1234. How do I get from Midway Airport to the hotel? A taxi ride from Midway Airport to the hotel costs about $65 and the hotel is about 26 miles from the airport. The Omega Airport Shuttle can take travelers to the O'Hare Airport, where you can pick up the complimentary hotel shuttle. Shuttles leave Chicago Midway Airport every hour between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, and travel to O'Hare International Airport. Travelers are picked up at door M1 at Chicago Midway Airport. There is valet parking available to hotel guests at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare Hotel with in/out privileges. Rates are $28 per day. For non-hotel guests, the rate is $25 per day with no in/out privileges. Self parking is also available at $17 per day with in/out privileges for hotel guests.
